Bonfiglioli USA, the Northern Kentucky branch of Italian-based Bonfiglioli Riduttori S.p.A., today celebrated its new assembly line for planetary gearboxes with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
In attendance were Sonia Bonfiglioli, President and CEO of Bonfiglioli Riduttori, Fausto Carboni, General Manager for the Company’s Mobile and Wind Business Solutions and Greg Schulte, President of Bonfiglioli North America. Joining Bonfiglioli executives on stage were Lt. Governor Crit Luallen, the Honorable Judge Gary Moore of the Boone County Fiscal Court, and Trey Grayson, President of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. The celebration also included numerous customers, business partners, trade organizations and the entire USA staff.
Both the Lt. Governor and Judge Moore spoke of the impact the new assembly line will have on the Northern Kentucky region and the state of Kentucky, and for recognizing Northern Kentucky as a top location for advanced manufacturing.
Ms. Bonfiglioli, Mr. Carboni and Mr. Schulte all commented on the collaborative efforts between the headquarters in Italy and the USA operations, which has resulted in the installation of a state-of-the-art assembly line that will enable Bonfiglioli to better serve its customers in North America.
