On 1 October at the Corporate office of the Bonfiglioli Group, a meeting was held with the European American Chamber of Commerce involving qualified Group suppliers and companies in the mechanics sector. In the meeting, opportunities for establishing Italian businesses in the USA were illustrated, in the city of Cincinnati in particular. Sonia Bonfiglioli explained the reasons that prompted the creation of a local presence in North America and, above all, how straightforward and collaborative relations with the local institutions were. The American market offers a wealth of opportunities and must be followed closely, and relationships with clients are strong when consolidated through a high degree of service and “customisation” of approach, both in terms of sales and production: these were the indications that Sonia Bonfiglioli wanted to communicate to the business professionals present. The EACC stressed how Cincinnati offers a consolidated disposition toward business, vicinity to the main consumer markets, an excellent workforce and a quality of life among the most attractive in the USA. The area is home to big American businesses such as Procter and Gamble and Macy’s, as well as first-rate Italian companies such as Luxottica and the Bonfiglioli Group itself, a clear sign that the political-social system and infrastructure work and make establishing a local presence in the area relatively simple.
Our company, Sonia Bonfiglioli stressed, has found a great opportunity for growth and development in the area of America, reinforced by the strong and important relationship with clients such as Caterpillar and John Deere, taking from them new starting points for ever more demanding challenges that truly spur us on to face the future.
