Many new products from Bonfiglioli at Intersolar Europe 2014

The participation of Bonfiglioli’s Photovoltaic Business Unit at Intersolar Europe ’14 proved a great success again this year thanks to the many new products presented there.
Visitors and journalists were also given an opportunity to learn about Bonfiglioli’s solutions in a relaxed atmosphere after the exhibition’s first busy day, in a press conference and cocktail party that took place at the stand on the evening of the 4th June. At the event, Bonfiglioli eagerly thanked all comers with a generous supply of refreshments and good music.
The following were just some of the new products Bonfiglioli presented at this year’s Intersolar Europe:

  • RPS TL-4Q Series: new DC-AC power conditioners of up to 1400 kW per unit. With its RPS TL-4Q inverters, Bonfiglioli is introducing a series of high performance power conditioners for large battery storage systems serving the mains energy grid. The new units are compatible with all common battery technologies. Their proven design is based on Bonfiglioli’s highly successful RPS TL inverter platform.

  • ICON LV Series: Turnkey PV inverter stations in ISO containers. Bonfiglioli’s new ICON LV Series sets new standards in the design of RPS Station turnkey inverter solutions. The new series is based on universal ISO containers and offers a range of performance classes up to 1575 kWac in 20’ containers (ICON LV-20) and up to 3150 kWac (ICON LV-40) in 40’ containers.

  • New DC power converter variants in the RPS TL inverter family. Thanks to a DC operating interval compatible with Ampt ModeTM, these power optimiser variants of the RPS TL system can deliver up to 50% more power capacity than conventional configurations, offering excellent values of up to 1986 kWp (1750 kWac) from each PV inverter system. This makes it possible to reduce the size of megawatt class inverter stations and achieve a significant reduction in BoS costs.
