The Vice-President of the European Commission visits Bonfiglioli’s stand

The world’s largest exhibition for industrial technology came to a successful close in Hanover on Friday 12th April.
The exhibition attracted 6,550 exhibitors from 62 countries and almost 225,000 visitors.
This made the 2013 edition the most successful in the last ten years. The event also attracted the attention of politicians from all over the world and of leading figures in the European Union.
On the first day of the exhibition, Monday 8th April, Antonio Tajani, Vice-President of the European Commission, was received at the stand of Bonfiglioli Riduttori by Chairman and CEO Sonia Bonfiglioli.

Tajani confirmed the European Commission’s support for companies taking part in this important international showcase and reminded everybody of the support services the Commission offers to European industry. Accompanied by Sonia Bonfiglioli, Tajani commented on the dynamics of recent months and the growing uncertainty encountered throughout Europe, and went on to enquire how the Bonfiglioli Group considers the arrival of competitors from Asia.
Sonia Bonfiglioli emphasised that, according to the Bonfiglioli business model, the winning strategy is to focus on quality and innovation in products and solutions.
Amadio Bolzani, Chairman of Assofluid and a member of Cetop’s board of directors, also visited the Bonfiglioli stand to share his ideas with Sonia Bonfiglioli and the Vice-President of the European Commission.
